Due to the medical nature of the appointment we ask that you are accompanied by one person. Your Ultrasound will be performed by a Sonographer. They are specially trained medical professionals who perform ultrasounds. The images the Sonographer captures are then reviewed by a Radiologist who will generate a report for your referring doctor.
You will be asked to lie down on a bed and your abdomen will need to be visible. The Sonographer will do their best to protect your clothing as they apply a warmed gel to your abdomen. To ensure we capture all the images the Doctor needs, the Sonographer may take up to an hour to complete the scan.
