With that in mind, I can't imagine who the hell's dumb enough to debate it "for so long". BloodRain Apparently she's moon level? Sacred Originally posted by BloodRain Apparently she's moon level?
She should be beyond that. She punched "God" relative term, I know across the solar system and into the sun. Jean isn't in this thread. BloodRain Mm. So what is she? NemeBro I have no clue. I don't know what she did in Bayonetta 2.
In 1 she was able to headbutt a skyscraper, was hypersonic idk how much , and the summons she could manage solo were multi city block busters.
But like I said, I haven't played Bayonetta 2. Or 1 for that matter. For example, when a Lumen Sage stopped time to position newly fired bullets about three feet behind her, she managed to not only turn and identify the incoming threat, but also dodge all 16 of them. Considering regular bullets travel around 2, feet per second, she must have pulled all that off in less than 1,th of a second.
Boomstick : And then there's that one time, when she killed God. You know, by scissoring her hair with Jeanne's and punching the creator's soul across the entire solar system into the sun! Wiz : Okay, obviously Bayonetta's feats and abilities are absolutely ridiculous, but she is sometimes rather inconsistent. Boomstick : Despite her reaction time, she's been caught off guard by enemies ranging from a half-god called Lobster or something like that, and even a plant monster that managed to grab her out of the air.
Dante arrives on the top of a very tall clock tower, which contains a chapel inside. He sees a tall chair in the middle with a small Bayonetta doll and picks it up to examine it.
While looking at it, Cereza arrives dressed in priestess attire while holding a book. Dante is impressed by the woman's looks, and tosses the doll back onto the chair while walking over to talk to her.
Dante : Lost? I'm looking for something called the Left Eye. Care to give me a hand? Could be fun. Bayonetta : Hmph, I see. But if you're looking for the Left Eye, that would either make you an angel Bayonetta holds out her book and Dante walks over thinking she's offering it to him, but she starts shooting at him.
They both try shooting as she leaps over Dante and takes off her priestess outfit, revealing her true clothes. They both get into a gridlock after firing a few shots and she winks at her opponent, with the Left Eye flashing.
They both exchange blows of gun-fu before Bayonetta uses Madama Butterfly's foot to kick Dante to the floor. Dante quickly gets up. They fire more bullets and Dante ends up catching one in his mouth that he spits out. Bayonetta laughs as she avoids Dante's bullets while firing her own. Dante leaps high into the air to avoid as his opponent follows suit and grips him between her legs. He escapes her grip and the two kick each other backwards. Dante avoids the arrows at first and then slashes them while firing more bullets.
He charges at Bayonetta with Rebellion. She dodges it and uses Witch Time. She uses the slowed down time to land multiple hits on Dante with her hair and uppercuts him. She uses a Madama Butterfly kick to send him into the Iron Maiden, which closes and traps him while impaling him in multiple places. Bayonetta starts walking off, but Dante breaks out of the Torture Attack while brushing his shoulder.
Dante sends multiple energy waves out of his sword which knocks over multiple chairs in the chapel. Bayonetta dodges all of them and activates Witch Time for the last attack.
She charges at Dante, but Dante activates Quicksilver allowing him to fight at her speed in time to counter her and send her back. They clash their swords multiple times before Dante sends her back and kicks a chair her way. Bayonetta slashes the multiple chairs her way but is caught off guard by a chair that hits her in the back of the head, as a result of Dante teleporting behind her.
Bayonetta takes out Arluna and clashes with Dante using the whip with Rakshasha on her feet. Bayonetta summons Gomorrah, which roars at the white-haired demon hunter. Dante salutes with a smug look as the large demon devours him. Dante isn't chewed up and opens up the large monster's jaw from the inside. Dante escapes from the demon's mouth and takes it down with a few slashes of Rebellion.
Bayonetta takes out Takemikazuchi and tries slamming Dante, who blocks is using Gilgamesh. The blow sends them to the next floor of the building. Dante quickly activates Quicksilver again as Cereza sneaks up on him with a blow with Rakshasha and they both point their weapons at each other.
Dante pushes Bayonetta back as Trish sends the cycle towards his opponent. Bayonetta stands there as Jeanne appears to kick the bike back at Trish, who slashes it in half with Sparda, resulting in an explosion.
Trish tosses her scythe at Bayonetta, who hits it back with her hammer. Sid using Abigail's incomplete power was a casual petatons anime Dante was able to shot him and now he is stronger then characters who are far above the real Abigail who is far above sid.
Super Moderator. Wasn't Bayo a match for Dante even back when Dante was 3-A? Additionally, on top of Attack Potency advantage Weekly mentioned, there was also Witch Time being more advanced than Quicksilver and Bazillions causing atomization. Dante has resistance to time manipulation now Plus Dante can use his telekinesis to reflect them and that is in character for him he did with mundus Dante can use his amulet to make him stronger and faster 10 tenfold also Dante does have the speed advantage here.
DarkDragonMedeus said:. Dante has resistance to time manipulation now Abgail's incomplete power was a casual petatons Abigail's real power is much higher and Dante is more powerful than characters who are above Sid and Abigail Plus Dante can use his amulet to make him stronger by tenfold.
Sprda Cool, doesnt stop Bayo from oneshotting him. Weekly I was talking about Bazillions The scaling chain feels inflated, can you provide proof for it? How is it inflated when he's literally explaining that even what's basically the Goomba's of Bayonetta perform the High 6-A feat where as the second to last boss is so far above that. Or even in general, the main villain should be far above other bosses, who are above mini-bosses, who are above cannon fodder, and said High 6-A foes are low even for cannon fodder standards in the same verse.
Sparda said:. Balder is stronger than Bayonetta's summons to the point that he casually ragdolled and broke the neck of Gomorrah and casually tore Scolopendra to pieces Bayonetta fought and killed Balder. No, she didnt, she only got a powerup after the fight when Jubileus was summoned and her Left Eye was unlocked. Uh, I heard that powerscaling in Bayonetta is fucky, but that's just No I mean, she was getting stomped well, not really her, but her summons , and then she defeated the guy who was stomping her.
The last thing we need is Matt needing to post this video on Zima's latest video again. Sid is a casual petatons when using Abigail's incomplete power anime Dante one shot him. Real Abigail is far stronger than sid mundus is above abigail sparda is above mundus Dante is above sparda and dmc 2 Dante casually stomped void mundus who is stronger than normal mundus and Dante can use his amulet to make his ap higher times Reb She wasnt getting stomped tho?
Her summons yeah but she herself wasnt, shes stronger than her summons. So either the vote is for Bayonetta or it's a casual stomp. Sid wasn't using the full power of Abigail that was only a faction of it and Dante one shot him Dante casually stomped void mundus who is stronger than normal mundus and Dante is stronger than sparda plus with his amulets Dante can amp his ap times This game series pioneered grading people on how stylish they were, and it is still the poster boy for this type of gameplay.
In DMC5 alone, Dante has tons of different weapons that all have input-specific combos and transformations. And, that's just one character! Meanwhile, Bayonetta is fun and challenging, but nowhere near this complex. Don't get us wrong, over the years the amount of unique designs in the Devil May Cry games is staggering, especially with the bosses.
Frankly, Bayonetta with its two measly iterations can't compete with DMC' s five or six if you count the reboot. But, in terms of a cohesive design theme, Bayonetta wins. All the angels in the Bayonetta games feel like they came from the same design book and follow the same design formula. And, in Bayonetta 2 , the Devils followed that same concept relatively well. Meanwhile, demons and monsters in DMC games are all over the place in terms of their style and design aesthetic, and while that's a plus in most areas, if we're talking about cohesiveness, it definitely isn't.
Excluding the secret character Zero from the first game, Bayonetta really doesn't have many playable characters at all. The second game added a few like Rodin, Balder, Jeanne, and Rosa, but the majority of them play very similarly and are mostly there for fanservice.
But, DMC has a ton of playable characters other than Dante. And, that's not even counting how differently Dante plays in each game especially DMC2 or the characters from the awful reboot! There's a lot of variety for a person if they want to be stylish, and it's hard to measure up to that in any tangible sort of way. DMC1 is a rough game control-wise and they slowly improved over time but Bayonetta started off pretty streamlined.
